About Me

Iti Vaidya is a New-York based Textile Designer and Artist, currently pursuing MFA Textiles at The New School- Parsons School of Design. Her work is guided by food & agriculture systems revolving around the concepts of food sustainability, food justice, indigenous foods and preservation of natural ecosystems. She experiments with natural dyeing with foods, wet and needle felting, hand spinning and hand weaving. The primary medium of her work is wool.
